I felt there was a need for WordPress themes that were earthy without being hippie-ish or just amateur-looking. I love autumn and took this masthead picture myself of some leaves in a parking lot puddle where I live in Montpelier, Vermont. I tweaked it in Photoshop and made this theme around it. Of course, you’re welcome to change the picture to your own, if you want. It’s got a “fat” footer divided into three sections, left, middle, and right that you can do whatever you want with. Built into the theme is an RSS reader subscribe dropdown. It uses WP template tags to place your blog’s URL in all the right places. Your visitors just open the dropdown and choose from among the web’s most popular RSS services or readers to subscribe.
