Busting into 2008 with a New Design and Free Ebook

remarkablogger-new-year-2008.jpg

Buh-bye, 2007. Helloooooo 2008!

New Remarkablogger Design & Logo

There’s some new stuff to say howdy to here on Remarkablogger. First of all, if you’re seeing this in a reader, come check out the new design. I’m now rockin’ the logo Mohsin designed for me. So come check it out!

The new theme is based on Sandbox. There are still a couple tweaks to do in the sidebars, but it’s ready for its first day of the year debut. Nothing like a fresh new coat of pixels for a new year.

Free Ebook: How to Start a Business Blog

Michael, congratulations on the new design! Mohsin does great work. Your new logo will serve you well.

I just gave the ebook a quick perusal—it’s obvious you’ve put a lot of work into the ebook. I’m going to need a good chunk of time to read it!

@Aaron: thanks! Yes, Mohsin is great. I recommend him to anyone who needs a logo or a blog design (if they don’t want me, that is! :D ). Don’t be afraid to let me know what you think of the book. I’d like to be able to post some readers’ commentary on it.

Michael says he’s kidding about the attack monkeys, but I know different! They’re actually hanging in the closet in suspended animation just waiting for the right moment.

No, seriously… I know, more than anyone else, all the love and attention you put into your work, Michael. So, though I never make comments here, I felt it was time to make an exception so that I could publicly say congratulations.

The site looks great and the e-book is, of course, excellent. But then, I never expected anything less from you.

    Well done. Well done.

Great new theme here and I am eager to see the new things that are about to be offered on your blog.

Your e-book has tonnes of information for me to go through and although I just scanned through a few pages, I can conclude that it is a great guide for those who are on a business but would like o extend their coverage via blogs.

Michael I saw the new logo in my RSS feed and it looks great! Then I got to the site and it’s just amazing looking. You have ushered in 2008 nicely! Will have to read the Ebook now.

    Great new design, Michael!

I must say that I did not feel like your previous design lived up to your reputation or name. It is good to see that you have a design now that does you justice!

I am a big fan, and I think that your content on business blogging and marketing is really helping new businesses to move ahead in the new ‘Web 2.0′ business climate. All businesses need to realize that they MUST adapt and get a blog asap, or they risk becoming irrelevent on the web. Your blog really conveys that message well.

Looking forward to reading the new ebook and seeing what you have to say in it. Happy New Year!

@Wife: Thanks, babe. You’re the best. I couldn’t do any of this even half as well without your support.

@Wayne and Ashley: thank you very much! I hope you find the book useful. Your feedback will be most welcome.

@Conrad: I know what you mean about the previous design. I had quickly outgrown it. Thanks for the kind words on the new design. Yes, business must adapt in order to thrive and succeed–but most people aren’t really aware of what that means or what, exactly, is to be done and how. And that’s what I’m really trying to address with my blogging.

    Michael,

Your new theme and logo ROCKS!

Moshin did a fabulous job on your logo (I’m jealous).

Just subscribed to your feed. Look forward to reading your book and I am thinking it will make for a book review post.

@Mohsin: Thanks, buddy. I had to do the logo justice! Everybody loves it. Thank you once again! :)

@Pelf: thank you, and happy new year to you, as well!

@Guilherme: Thanks! I look forward to any comments on the book you might have. Sorry your name was truncated in the comment field. I’ll see if there’s something I can do about that.

@Mark: Thanks for subscribing! At my next post (should be later tonight) you will be able to download the book from your reader or from your email.

Hi Michael, I really love the new look, well done! The color scheme is perfect and yep the logo rocks! The only thing I find could use a little more contrast is the sidebars, it’s a little hard to read (green on green), but apart from that it’s awesome! :)

Michael - the new design is incredible! Very clean and inviting. I think 2008 is going to be an amazing year!

@Christine: Thanks! Glad you like it. There might be a couple minor adjustments here and there, but I’m really digging the green and orange thing.
