Better Blogging Link Blast for August 31, 2007

  • John Chow has a great article on using Facebook to increase RSS subscription numbers.
  • For your meta link of the week (a link in a link list to a link list) I have a good one from LinkJuicy: a big list of link blogs.
  • Young Go Getter releases a WordPress plugin you didn’t know you needed: Douche Bag (via Mashable).
  • Andy Wibbels relates that Amazon have created their own self-publishing venue called CreateSpace. You get free ISBN numbers (which is important, cuz they’re not cheap) for your products and you can sell ‘em on Amazon. For bloggers looking to make money online, this is a new opportunity.
  • Skellie has an excellent article on creating ebooks for no money. Combine this with the previous item above for a nice 1-2 punch!
